Meeting acts: a labeling system for group interaction in meetings

چکیده
We describe a new system for labeling speech corpora with high-level group interaction tags, called “meeting acts.” The system was motivated by a need to assess work seeking to automatically detect meeting style using dialog act information. We present information about the relationships seen between dialog act sequences and meeting style to motivate the labeling process. We provide a summary of the annotation system and labeling procedure, as well as preliminary inter-annotator reliability statistics on the ICSI Meeting Recorder Corpus.

Automatic recognition of multiparty human interactions using dynamic Bayesian networks
Relating statistical machine learning approaches to the automatic analysis of multiparty communicative events, such as meetings, is an ambitious research area. We have investigated automatic meeting segmentation both in terms of “Meeting Actions” and “Dialogue Acts”. Dialogue acts model the discourse structure at a fine grained level highlighting individual speaker intentions. Group meeting act...

We present ongoing research efforts using semantic representations and processing, combined with machine learning approaches to structure, understand, summarize etc. the multimodal information available from multi-party meeting recordings. متن کاملAutomatic analysis of multiparty meetings
This paper is about the recognition and interpretation of multiparty meetings captured as audio, video and other signals. This is a challenging task since the meetings consist of spontaneous and conversational interactions between a number of participants: it is a multimodal, multiparty, multistream problem. We discuss the capture and annotation of the AMI meeting corpus, the development of a m...
